Staff Handbooks
Staff handbooks are a great way of having all of your HR policies in one place and it's easy to keep them updated as the law changes on any given area. If you currently have one in place, Diversity will review it for you to ensure that it is still up to date. If you don't have one in place and would like one, they will meet with you to discuss and advise you whilst giving you costings.
Your handbook can cover a variety of policies, here are a few examples:
- Terms of employment
- Remuneration
- Working practices
- Computer/email
- Social media
- Leaving employment
- Absences from the business (i.e. sickness/ holiday /maternity/paternity etc.)
- policies & procedures, including equal opportunities, bullying & harassment etc.
- H & S
- Disciplinary & grievance procedure
- Capability
- Recruitment
- Communication
- Training and development
- Appraisals
- Professional standards including any relevant acts governing the company
- Whistle-blowing
- Redundancy
- Working from home policy
- Car policy
NB: Once your handbook has been completed. Diversity will inform you of any changes to legislation going forward and amend your master handbook for you free of charge.
